Jab'ri looked sheepish. Sarah realized that so many years of prejudice wouldn't be erased so quickly.

"There is a..." he looked around at the blue elves nearby, then came closer to Sarah. "There is a cave," he whispered, "that goes under the magic field. It's how we enter and exit the city."

Sarah did not even hesitate, she looked at Jab'ri and spoke softly "take me there, and lets hurry, the tension in this air is thick and I do not know how long this peace will last"

She looked over at David she needed him to come with her, if he truly was the only one who could read the book, but she was also aware that someone must be left in charge or else the tension might snap and the war would rage on...

Sarah surveyed the crowd. No one stood out to her. If she chose a blue elf, the red elves would surely think she was biased, and if she chose a red elf then she'd be hated by her own friends.

"Who is the second in command of both armies?" she asked. Two elves stepped forward and saluted, the blue one hand at his forehead, the red one hand at the side of his face. They looked at each other in disgust, and then introduced themselves.
