took the plunge (again) and joined the gym... so far 3 days in row. kind of wonder if i should go every day for awhile to get into the rhythm of it. plus we set up the bowflex again which means i can do extra at home. time to pull out the jump rope too. Very Happy

more veggies and protein, fewer carbs... and i enlisted (sort of) the bf's help. he didn't say too much so we will see how much support i actually get.

as for cooking, what i've decided is i'll make something for both of us but just add extra carbs for his which makes it easy. ie, chicken, stuffing and broccoli - i had 1/2 serving of stuffing - he can have as much as he wants, plus garlic bread. none for me thanks! i really need to find a local "weight loss buddy" (however jill i hope you will keep me on track)

blech... sometimes i wonder why we stick it out in certain situations, more specifically relationships that always seem more one-sided on the "giving" side - those that tend to be unfulfilled for one due to whatever reason. maybe the other side has always been incapable of giving - or is too frightened to admit they can't.

when did physical closeness turn to just sports and car discussions? when did passion turn to complacency and acceptance - simply to stave off loneliness? why do we let it get this far? do we even care?

My father once told me he was with the same person because he didn't want to start over... he was too old. That was ten years ago and he's still with this person he doesn't even really LIKE.

i miss the days i had something to share... i guess the days when i felt like i had a life. i have become a hermit - sadly now i have also become shy in meeting new people. i have nothing to talk about because i do nothing. my life is comprised of work, the gym, and home for tv or xbox at night. it's a fairly tame existence - i long for my wild side.

i had a dream last night about adam lambert - how weird is that? i remember bits and pieces of it... strangely i remember it being slightly erotic. (not complaining or anything... i LIKE erotic dreams...) just found it odd that it involved this particular person... Rolling Eyes

I think you're watching way to much TV....especially American Idol. If you ever go on Xbox Live and want to play something my gamertag is the same as my screen name. Very original, I know.
